HOW IT WORKS
As soon as we begin our partnership, we reach out to photographers in your area and coordinate with their schedules. Each potential photographer that we hire is thoroughly screened to make sure they meet our standards. We make sure they have the right gear for the job, the right experience, and we even have them go through online training videos to ensure that they refresh their knowledge
We also work with each photographer to provide clear event-day expectations. We provide them with directions to the event, instructions on their responsibilities, and explain the level of professionalism we expect from each of our photographers. We have recruiting down to a science and we look forward to making sure you have a great photographers for your event.
All the photographers will shoot the event based on their instructions. When they are finished we have them ready to move quickly (with Internet connections that are truly speedy) so that photos can be uploaded to our servers and be ready for processing. The faster we can get the photos, the faster we can begin the editing process. Any bottle neck in this process can delay photos being available to your participants. Our goal is to be the fastest, high quality photography service and this helps us maintain quality and increase speed.
Photo editing is one thing that a lot of “professional” photography companies don’t do. It doesn’t matter how good a photographer is, their photos need to be edited.
After we reject all of the bad photos (blurry, out of focus, or inappropriate,) we go through and adjust the exposure, the color balance, and we apply a beautiful negative vignette that brings focus to the subject. It’s a small touch but it adds quality to our photos that your participants will appreciate.
We want the memories of the event to match the quality of the event itself and these are some of the ways we achieve that.
Our team is located in Kansas City and we utilize Google Fiber as our Internet Service Provider. This allows us to upload high res versions of the photos as quickly as possible. This allows your customers to print or download large high quality versions of the photos if they would like.
As an event organizer you can also download the high res version of any photos of your event for marketing and social media purposes. It’s never too early to start marketing next year’s event.
Bib Tagging is a thing of the past with our new Search By Selfie™ technology. Participants in events that are utilizing SportsPhotos.com for their photography needs simply upload a selfie. AI technology will find photos that users would have never found by searching for bib number only. Search By Selfie™ is not limited to close-up, perfectly angled photos. Race participants will find pictures where they are far off in the distance, at various angles, partially obscured, and even when they appear amongst a sea of other athletes.
We notify your participants when the photos are available and we include a list of photos that we have tagged them in.
When customers claim their photos, they have the option of sharing to social media directly from our website or by downloading the photos. Customers can also order prints that are fulfilled by our professional color lab.
Promote your event through social media by providing free photos to your participants.
As soon as athletes download their photos, they are going to be so excited to share their favorite photos on social media. When you invest in great photography and offer it to participants at no cost, you will dramatically increase the visibility of your event. Looking to lower photography costs? We can easily add a sponsor’s logo to your photos.
